FIND A HIMS AME

HIMS AMEs receive specialty training in the HIMS program. You are required to have a HIMS AME for an FAA-monitored alcohol or drug Special Issuance Authorization.

HIMS AMEs also receive enhanced training in mental health issues common to pilots, like antidepressant treatment of depression or anxiety disorders using FAA-pathway SSRIs therapies.

Being in the map does not imply my endorsement, only that the flight physician is on the FAA’s designated HIMS AME list.
